About me

Above: This is me with the “Shorties” at one of my first 3v3 tournaments. I think I’m about 8.  To my left, your right, are Grace Lynn-Lato, Courtney Walker, Brandi Walker and Emery Noll.  To the right: Me with my teammates Haley Berg, Emery Noll and Brandi Walker after winning the U15 Elite Division at the World Championships in Orlando, 2013.

I’ve been playing soccer since I was 7.  I got interested in playing when my older sister Madeline was playing at Siskey YMCA. I’ve been playing 3v3 soccer for about the same length of time and while I really like 11v11 club soccer I really love 3v3.  My 3v3 teammates include two of the girls here — Brandi Walker and Emery Noll — and the three of us still play together. We’ve been going to the World Championships in Orlando every year since we were 8 and we’ve never finished out of the top five.  We were runners up in 2012 and in 2011 and 2013 we won it.

photo-72014 was my first year of playing soccer in high school, with the Providence High School Varsity team.  We were undefeated in our conference and missed advancing to the state championships by one goal. I was awarded “Rookie of the Year” and was named to the All-Conference women’s team.  As for ECNL, I made the December edition of the topdrawersoccer.com “top scorers” list (#3 U16 ECNL) and also made the IMG Top 150!

In 2015, Providence got to the NCHSSA 4A finals for the first time in about ten years. We ended up second, and I was named All Region and All Conference again. As for club, I moved to the Carolina Rapids in May 2015 and my team won the US Soccer National Cup XIV Super Group in July in Indianapolis.  In 2016, Providence won the NCHSSA 4A title with a victory of Middle Creek, 2-1.  It had been 19 years since our last NCHSSA women’s soccer title.  I received the MVP Award for that match and also received  All-Conference, All-Region and All-State team nominations, finishing the season with 19 goals and 8 assists.   On the club side we won the US Club Regionals on June 20, then went to Greenville to compete in the USYS Regionals, from June 23-30.  We won that, as well, which qualifies us for Nationals in Dallas, July 25. Click here to see my goal in the final versus Sunrise Sting. I received the MVP Award for my play in that tournament, so now it’s on to Dallas. More to follow!
